In short
Eranthis collects nothing. There is no account and no analytics. What it reads about your Mac stays on your Mac.
What it reads, on your Mac
- Memory pressure, swapping, load and free disk, from macOS.
- Your own processes: their names, arguments, working folders and memory, to find your Claude Code sessions and what each started.
- The git worktrees of the repositories your sessions use: their branches, sizes and whether they are merged.
- ~/.claude/settings.json, to show whether its hook is there; it writes to that file only when you choose Add to Claude Code or Remove.
What stays on your Mac
- Your rules, in rules.json.
- tracker.json: which session each process belonged to, by process id and start time, each session's memory over the last hour, and the last swap reading.
- held.jsonl: the last 50 commands the hook held, with why, for the Claude Code page.
- Your settings, and the repositories your sessions have used, for the Disk page.
They are in ~/Library/Application Support/Eranthis and in Eranthis's preferences, and stay there until you delete them.
When Eranthis goes online
Only to update itself. A minute after it starts, then once a day while Update automatically is on, Eranthis asks releases.eranthis.tolo.app whether there is a newer version, and downloads it if there is. The request carries no cookies and nothing about you or your Mac. You can turn Update automatically off in Settings → General.
